"Cybersummer" is a meaningful summer camp program that supports children over one week in exploring the digital world consciously and safely. The focus is on building self-confidence, developing mindful use of digital media, and finding a good balance between online and offline time. Children learn about the opportunities and risks of digital media in an age-appropriate way and strengthen their wellbeing through playful and practical activities including mindfulness exercises, creativity, movement, and discussion. Key topics: This is me – online & offline Children reflect on their media habits, build self-esteem, and learn basic mindfulness exercises. Apps, chats & challenges – I am strong Children learn about the advantages and risks of social media in a child-friendly way and are encouraged to use it confidently. Safe in the digital world Children receive age-appropriate information about algorithms and data protection and learn to navigate the digital world safely and confidently. Strong and aware online (together with parents) Children develop strategies together with a parent for independent use of their mobile phone and strengthen their awareness of personal wellbeing – both online and offline.
