She has been knitting since primary school\, but only enjoyed it again after rediscovering it as a teenager. She trained as a seamstress\, painter\, and textile designer. She has worked in textile design in New York for Armani\, among others. For several years she has been a costume seamstress for the Scala Theatre and the Reichenau Festival.
