Want to meet new people, chat with neighbors, and hear stories from lived experiences? Visit Vienna's libraries for "Chatting in the Library," a free program by Vienna Health Promotion (WiG). Meetings take place alternating Thursdays or Fridays from September to December 2026 in Simmering and Favoriten. Sessions are led by experienced moderators and held at various libraries listed below. Participation is free and requires no registration. Stop by—we look forward to seeing you! "Chatting in the Library" is a Vienna Health Promotion (WiG) initiative within the "Healthy Districts" program, in cooperation with Vienna's City Libraries and implemented by the Sorgenetz association.
