From a young age, meerkat Tafiti learns the most important rule of his family: all animals are dangerous! That's why he wants nothing to do with brush-eared pig Pinsel. But when Tafiti's grandfather is bitten by a snake, Tafiti sets out to find the magical blue flower that can heal him. Pinsel sneaks along behind, and soon the unlikely pair finds itself in the greatest adventure of their lives. On their journey, they experience all sorts of dangers and learn what friendship means.
