Consent is a sociocratic decision-making process where decisions are made as long as there is no "serious objection." It aims for quick, consensus-capable solutions without requiring unanimity. The focus is on "good enough for now, safe enough to try" (see Sociocracy Centre). To introduce and teach this process, Barbara Strauch (co-founder of the Sociocracy Centre Austria) and others developed a game in which 4 to 8 participants can playfully learn and experience this method. Keep the Balance – The Consent Game for more cohesion and community. "Keep the Balance – The Consent Game" offers tasks from various topics that must be solved together as a group. Because only when we find common solutions do we stay balanced as a group – and keep the game board in balance. Keep the Balance! This evening we will play this game. Barbara Strauch will be personally present and participate.
