The leisure education project "Pippi – Play in the Park" run by the City of Linz in cooperation with Linz Children's Friends has been a fixture of the state capital for over two decades. It primarily targets children and teenagers aged 8 to 14 for whom playgrounds no longer offer age-appropriate activities and who are still too young to visit a youth center. The project is especially designed for children who lack supervision during summer due to various factors and are responsible for organizing their own leisure time. This year we're excited to offer our exciting PiPPi program at Andreas-Hofer-Platz too! From July 14 to August 28, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, unforgettable adventures, creative games and lots of fun await you and your children. Come by and have a great time with us! Activities are tailored on-site to meet children's needs. The range of possibilities is broad, including various ball games, entertaining excursions, cooking together, and different outdoor games, as well as photo shoots, educational activities such as neighborhood rallies, discovering the diverse offerings in Linz, and working through topics from the past school year. The supervisors from Linz Children's Friends are competent, committed and reliable contacts who encourage children to participate. The diverse participation opportunities aim especially to boost creativity and try new things. The program runs from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday. Pippi takes place directly at Andreas Hof Park and can be visited there.
