The leisure education project "Pippi – Play in the Park" by the City of Linz in cooperation with Linz Children's Friends has been a fixture of the state capital for more than two decades. The target audience is primarily children and young people aged 8 to 14 years old, for whom playgrounds no longer offer age-appropriate activities and who are still too young to visit a youth center. The project is especially aimed at children who are unsupervised during summer due to various factors and are responsible for organizing their own leisure activities. This year we're back with our great PiPPi program in Auwiesen! From July 14 to September 11, you can visit us on Gabesstraße. We offer our program from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Look forward to exciting adventures, creative activities, and unforgettable experiences for the whole family. Come by and enjoy the summer with us! The offerings are tailored to the children's needs on site. The range of possibilities is extensive and includes various ball games, entertaining excursions, cooking together, and different terrain games, as well as photo shoots, educational activities such as neighborhood rallies, exploring Linz's diverse offerings, and working through topics from the past school year. The supervisors from Linz Children's Friends are competent, committed, and reliable contacts who encourage children to participate. The diverse opportunities for participation are particularly aimed at boosting creativity and trying new things.
