Pippi – Play in the Park is a leisure education project by the City of Linz in cooperation with Linz Children's Friends and has been a fixture in the regional capital for over two decades. It primarily targets children and young people aged 8 to 14 for whom playgrounds are no longer age-appropriate and youth centres are still too advanced. The project especially serves children who lack supervision during summer due to various factors and are responsible for their own leisure activities. This year, we're back at Grüne Mitte with our great PiPPi programme! From July 14 to August 28, you can visit us in Grüne Mitte (inner courtyard). We offer our programme from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily. Look forward to exciting adventures, creative activities, and unforgettable experiences for the whole family. Come by and enjoy the summer with us! Activities are tailored to children's needs on site. The range of options is extensive, from various ball games, entertaining outings, and cooking together to different terrain games, photography sessions, educational activities like neighbourhood rallies, exploring Linz's diverse offerings, and working through topics from the past school year. The supervisors from Linz Children's Friends are competent, dedicated, and reliable contacts who encourage children to participate. The diverse involvement opportunities aim especially to boost creativity and try new things.
