"La povești" - Romanian Story Time is a playful, interactive educational activity in Romanian for children. The aims are linguistic and cultural in nature. The activity enables participants to apply and improve their Romanian language skills by listening to fairy tales, singing, painting, making puppets, and playing various musical instruments. "La povești" is not just a place where children hear stories, but also one where they are encouraged to "tell stories" in both the literal and figurative sense. Sorin C. Stan is a teacher of French language and literature, poet, singer, and passionate storyteller. He taught at the universities of Pécs, Zagreb, and Vienna as well as at the Lycée français.
