Ida's friend Miriam arrives at Winterstein School and immediately receives her magical animal – a pygmy slow loris named Fitzgeraldo. Max is the second lucky student, with owl Muriel. At the same time, the magical community is in complete upheaval: Winterstein School is supposed to be closed and sold. A rescue plan is needed! Will winning the School Challenge solve the problem? And then Ida's former school shows up with ambitious Torben as their leader. Miriam shares a secret with him that could ruin the entire plan.
